Provident Electric was founded in 1985 in Washington State, operating out of a modest property affectionately known as the “Chicken Coup.” With a mission rooted in quality craftsmanship and dependable service, our journey began with a focus on residential new construction.

1990s — Building Our Foundations

Throughout the 1990s, Provident Electric established a strong reputation for reliability and professionalism in the residential sector. We began forging long-lasting partnerships with some of the largest homebuilders in Washington State.

2000s — Steady Growth and Expansion

As the demand for residential electrical services grew, so did our team and capabilities. We expanded our service offerings, invested in advanced training, and consistently delivered excellence on every project.

2010s — New Locations, New Horizons

With growth came expansion. Provident Electric operates out of four locations across Washington State, each equipped to serve our clients with the same commitment to quality and expertise that built our legacy.

2020s — Leadership in Residential Construction

Provident Electric became a leader in residential new construction, known for our timely execution and deep market knowledge. We grew our client base to include the largest builders in the state, becoming a trusted partner in community developments and large-scale residential projects.

2025 — Breaking Into Custom AV

In 2025, we launched into an exciting new chapter: Custom Audio-Visual (AV) Solutions. Leveraging our technical experience and eye for innovation, we now provide integrated AV systems tailored to the needs of modern homes and custom builds— bringing smarter, more connected spaces to life.
